During the COVID-19 pandemic, construction projects encountered delays and additional costs. During the pandemic, the Government published guidance on how businesses in the construction industry, and other outdoor work can operate safely.

One of the 7 steps to protect yourself, your staff and your customers during coronavirus is ensuring that everyone observes social distancing on site. One of the easiest ways to ensure this is possible is to limit the number of people either on site or in particular areas.

We have a free self-assessment checklist which you can use to help site managers and principal contractors identify, and minimise risks on site.

The checklist identifies the main site safety and security considerations, with space to note any corrective action that may need to be taken to minimise any possible harm or damage.
