Manchester Royall Infirmary – Block Supported Hoarding

The Brief:

Manchester Royal Infirmary are undergoing works as part of their redevelopment scheme, which looks to make improvements to the emergency department.

Our scope of works was to take down an existing compound and build a more secure compound for our client Piggott & Whitfield who have been contracted to support this redevelopment.

It was extremely important that the area be made secure so that the hospital may continue to operate during the renovations, ensuring patients and pedestrians were kept safe.

The Solution:

The Facilities team disassembled the existing compound and replaced it with Block supported hoarding. The final Length of works totalled 83 metres, which included a gate and two doors for access.

The Outcome:

The customer was extremely happy with our work, with safesite having supported numerous other past projects.
