Safemat Ground Protection – West Sussex

The Brief:

A client had been parking on a patch of grass next to their house to make for a double driveway, however due to the rain the area had become a bit of a bog, causing for both cars to become stuck and leave large grooves from the wheels.

The client wanted a temporary solution to stop this from happening until a proper driveway could be laid.

The Solution:

The client used some wood chippings to fill in the track marks, making the area flat and even. They purchased some Safemats from SafeSite Facilities to lay over the top, using joint clips to hold them together and some ground pins to secure the mats to the ground.

The Outcome:

The client stated that the mats had been effective in stopping the chippings from shifting or being washed away, acting as a good temporary solution so that both cars could fit on the drive.
