Wates Group Wokingham – Dug-in Timber Hoarding

The Brief:

Wokingham Borough Council are working to regenerate the Gorse Ride estate. The scheme looks to demolish 178 run-down houses and see the building of 249 new, affordable and energy efficient modern homes.

A ‘hub’ has been situated at the entrance to the construction site, allowing for workers to collate together throughout the day and ensure the monitoring of persons and vehicles entering the site.

The Solution:

Our team installed 22m of dug in timber hoarding alongside a 4m vehicle gate at the entrance of the construction site, ensuring no unwanted persons can gain access to the site and therefore put themselves in danger.

The Outcome:

The customer was extremely happy with the works conducted, with Safesite having supported numerous aspects of the project around the area.
