Heavy Duty GRP Road Plates 1500mm – Yellow and Blue

The GRP Road Plate is a modular system of composite sections that link together and are used to cover potentially dangerous excavations on construction and maintenance sites.

At 40kgs this GRP Road Plate is far lighter and easier to handle than a steel plate. No need for expensive specialist lifting equipment, the GRP Road Plate can be installed in minutes with a 2 person lift. The integrated anti-skid surface, which exceeds current road plate standards, provides positive traction, for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. 

Installation

The GRP Road Plate is a modular system of composite sections which link together. Unlike steel plates, they don’t need to be moved with lifting equipment and can be installed with a two-person lift. The end sections are equipped with anchor holes so the road plates can be secured to the road. Heavy duty linking connectors lock the road plates together securely.

Weight capacity

Our GRP road plates’ integrated anti-skid surface exceeds current road plates’ standards and provides positive traction, for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. They are weight tested to 44 tonnes.
