LowPro Trench Cover 12×8

Keep footpaths open during street works by installing a LowPro pedestrian trench cover. The LowPro 12/8 is a lightweight composite trench cover system that is suitable for pedestrians and vehicles up to 1.6 tonnes to move over a 700mm excavation. It offers an alternative to traditional steel plates and plywood boards but is not designed to be used in the roadway.

The covers can be quickly installed, and the black rubber edges grip the asphalt – negating the need for bolts. The LowPro 12/8 trench cover measures 1.2m x 0.8m and can be connected to additional LowPro covers using the infill strips.

Installation, storage and transport

The product is very simple to install,  simply place over the 700mm wide excavation without a cold patch, asphalt ramp or bolts. The covers do not need lifting equipment and can be installed by hand.

The slimline nature of the trench cover means that it fits easily in the back of a small works vehicle.  Up to 30 covers fit on a single pallet which takes the full pallet height to 900mm.
