With a simple installation of interlocking each barrier, strong durability and stability with pedestrians it’s the ideal solution for crowd control. Crafted from recyclable blow-moulded High Density Polyethylene, it is exceptionally durable and strong.

Wind Resistance

The Boss Barrier system underwent rigorous testing at the Full Scale Wind Tunnel at Mira to determine the wind speeds it can withstand. The following are the results and the recommended ballast weight for each Wind Class:

The standard BS 8442:2006 states the three classes as the following: 

Class C: 8.7 m/s (19 mph)

Speed Limit Reached: 19.6m/h (8.7m/s) Ballast Used: 0kg

Class B: 17.6 m/s (39 mph)

Speed Limit Reached: 44km/h (17.6m/s) Ballast Used: 20kg

Class A: 26.3 m/s (58 mph)

Speed Limit Reached: 64.2km/h (26m/s) Ballast Used: 80kg
