Ground Guard MultiTrack:

Each Ground Guard MultiTrack unit measures 1.2 m (length) x 2.4 m (width) x 42 cm (height) and weighs approximately 39kg.

Installed appropriately, Ground Guard units can be placed side by side to create significant areas of traction and ground protection for:

• The movement and loading of heavy equipment,
• Creating parking surfaces and event trackways
• Creating temporary access roads and pedestrian walkways

Ground Guard MultiTrack mats also offer robust ground protection to minimise damage to landscaped or vulnerable areas for mobile home siting, festivals and other outdoor events, including marquee flooring and walkways.

Units are constructed from 100% recycled High-Density Polythene (HDPE). Although this construction is virtually indestructible, mats are fully recyclable at the end of their working life.

Lightweight construction, heavyweight strength

With a unit weight of 39 kg each, Ground Guard MultiTrack units are relatively lightweight enough to be installed manually by 2 persons without the cost and hassle of lifting equipment. Manual installation also means that significant ground coverage can be achieved quickly – ideal in unexpected situations or when emergency access is required for heavy equipment.

Single mats can be loose laid as required, whilst non-permanent, but when greater stretches of ground protection are needed, highly efficient anchorage is achieved with joiner pins and ground anchors.

As required, Multitrack mats may also be quickly and efficiently repositioned as site work progresses, then easily removed and stacked for space-saving storage when short-term work comes to an end.

Despite their relatively lightweight HDPE construction, when installed on firm ground, MultiTrack units can take loading weights of up to 120 tonnes (depending on the nature of the site / ground conditions) and are available in a range of tread surfaces to suit a variety of designated uses.

MultiTrack – Multi sites

Whether Ground Guard mats are required for construction or event purposes, they can be readily deployed across surfaces such as gravel, asphalt and concrete, grass and soil, or sand and mud. In all cases, ground should be firm but for particularly muddy or wet ground conditions, an additional geotextile membrane under the mats is available and recommended.
