Self-Weighted Traffic Logs (AKA “Melba logs”)
SafeSite Facilities’ high visibility red and white self-weighted log barriers, also known as Melba logs, are ideal for low level containment and traffic redirection, and are used at go-kart tracks nationwide. Made from high-density recycled rubber, carrying rope handles are fitted for ease of manoeuvre.
Each log is 300mm high, 1000m wide, with a depth of 300mm and a weight of 40kg.
Benefits
Made from high-density recycled rubber, our Self-Weighted Traffic Logs are more durable than bulk timbers and can be reused again and again. Logs can attach to posts and boards to create a higher barrier.
Installation
The logs are easily assembled using a locking system. They simply slot and lock into each other for fast and fuss-free deployment, and logs equivalent to 600m are present in each ordered load.

I couldn’t fault the product – Traffic Log
We hired then purchased 60 Traffic logs which we used as barriers to direct traffic flow. I couldn’t fault the product it does everything we need it do to.
